Breathtaking

PLANS

The world has become nasty and ugly inside and out, So the princess: Shimi-goto descends to it to save it. Can you and her stop the archdemon?

HEROINE

A Beautiful lady who arrives in a uglied world to save it from evil

She's supposed to look like NiGHTS with pupiless and irisless  eyes a slender body and a ruby covering her breasts. This is the description (as I don't have time to draw her) from the book:

Ageless

blue irisless and pupiless eyes, fair skin,  young, no ears, no nose.

Purple pigtails (though it looks like a hat. It might be a jester hat that she takes off at the end of the game to reveal she has long twintails).

She wears a form fitting bodysuit, with a opening for her breasts, and has a ruby covering them both.

She wears white gloves and shoes with red and white collars on them all the time.

All her movements and attacks looks like dance moves, and she can float just from jumping and can fly in flying areas

Opening:

During a Star shower, colorful balls fall to earth and one specific one has Shimigoto inside, her eye opens..She sees as ugly creatures infect earth and make it uglier, with uglified people killing those who aren't already. Shimi flies to the planet, killing the creatures via dancing into them. Then she flies to the screen slowly, until she divides into crimson and blue version of her, with her herself in the center. The other two keep running as she looks into a mirror and does her signature pose as the night sky suddenly appears behind her.

Story:

Shimigoto Akume and Gouka Massugo (Have no details on who he or... they are....) stand on a tower of wild, dew grass. They smile at each other, then fly at each other at intense speeds until they hit high up in the air, then both fall... both land safely. Later, Shimi gets a letter from earth, with someone explaining that earth is invaded by the minikui. They turn the ugliness in hearts into physical appearance, there's only a few people left and they beg for her to save them from Kakkoawashi(This is a run on thing, the narration is supposed to reveal the story is..prologue is similar to Ninja Gaiden's but there's no indication where the letter actually starts.  ) The letter ends with " a you are the one: Shimigoto Akume! (A reference to the Sailor Moon Theme Song) Shimigoto flies to the closest part of earth:

Sky City, killing all the slaves of Minikui and the berserker still destroying the bar. Shimigoto is knocked out after this and kidnapped (Which is bat sht crazy and insane, but this mirrors Ninja Gaiden so ....Unsure what else should happen except she willingly goes to jail???) feed s she wakes up, she finds a regular human (again what the frick??) knocked her out and apologizes for this. He then asks het to take a statue to a man named Elliott

so she goes through jail to find Forget-Me-Not airport, then after killing the kusuragami weilder she finds Elliott (though his name isn't shown again?) who explains the statue was half of a demon, the original challenger couldn't kill the demon, so he turned it into statues, by killing the Mimikui and (it's struck out, I think it says) taking the two halves of the demon away from each other. Elliott then asks her to keep the statues away from each other until after the solar eclipse. But someone steals the stature during this conversation and Shimigoto chases her, (Though I wrote this so wonky... geez...) Shimigoto follows the thief.

She chased her across a beach and into the mountains, and cornered her in a cave and killed her. After this, Shimigoto goes back to Elliot to find him dead. (.......I.... wanted him to have another name?) and finds a messenger of Gouka is here and is the murderer. Shimigoto and the messenger fights outside of Elliott's house, and Shimigoto wins. (I guess this goes in another direction? This seems like a new boss fight??? Or did I change who and where this boss is?????? .......Also the thing says THIS is Gouka though they seemed like a bigger character and is defeated now) Then Shimigoto is summoned to a building if the world government (Apparently I already saw this much of One piece at the time) they reinstate of what she knows but tell her the demon's highest officer: Turniped, Turpis or Jisan is planning his revival. They found out that earth is closest to a eclipse and so came here's to revive him. (I put alot of emphasis on the planet so I think there's multiple being explored....? I don't remember that this was on different planets) So they explained Jisan is in a place called Diamen(? Or Diamon?????) Shimigoto flies there.

She kills all the Minikui in the jungle and goes to the castle, upon going through it she finds Jisan's guards, after killing them, Jisan congratulates her and reveals he kidnapped Claris--the girl that knocked out Shimigoto before. (They were a guy before, this is changed later.....) Shimigoto gives him her statue and Jisan opens a trapdoor and drips her into the dungeon and laughs.

Shimigoto meanwhile flies through the dungeon, up the side of the mountain nd through the outer parts of the temple, and is challenged by and kills Malt. The man explains that he ...or a servant saved Elliot to use his body. (It's small text and lines are through it, but it looks like Elliot wasn't killed..) Shimigoto then rushes back into the upper areas of the castle where's Jisan now is.

Shimigoto flies through the temple, killing all the Minikui and find Jisan high inside the place. She saves Elliot, kills Jisan and the demon is revived as he dies, but she kills ...Turpis... (So this was changed too........) and revives the innocent, leaving earth beautiful. And flies back to her home.

LEVELS:

The levels are in different categories, and are inspired by several NES games, based on how ugly the sprite work was. The games are Ninja Gaiden (And Ninja Gaiden2????), Badstreet Brawler, Xexys and Kid Nikki Radical Ninja. Apparently the levels are supposed to be beautiful, while the enemies are horribly ugly. This divides each area, and what game it's based on.. except maybe bad street  brawler as those aren't levels but just different groups for the arcade version ...None of this is order and is apparently made in a stream of thought, the levels do not align with the story at all, and some have completely different names than what is showed in it.:

All of these levels are divided into different Zones or continents, and each are divided among the 4 games, except Wisdom apparently? if I do the levels and add up everything I might see if Ecstasy was supposed to be the leftover or something from scratch... Each level will begin with a picture of Shimigoto and the kingdom number, apparently specific cases will show the boss name instead

GAMEPLAY:

these are details found .........this is heavily altered as the writing's confusing, though some is kept in:

Action levels are platforming sides to long areas similar to Ninja Gaiden as you might of guessed, the levels are based on the ones from these games and Shimi herself is slightly more floaty, and moves slightly slower than Ryu. It's easy for her bounce and climb up walls, she can wall jump too when needed. Power ups gotten here are finite and she starts with 15 health. if Shimigoto is defeated, she'll restart from a checkpoint which is usually at the halfway point if the level, but she'll start all the way outside if she's defeated at the last area in the "boss rooms". Also birds will chase you and resonance constantly in these areas

Puzzle Levels are sidescrolling slight platforming levels, similar to Kid Nikki..  unlike in action levels, the enemies do more than just ram into you and maybe throw items to attack. They will have attacks from crashing into you, to throwing from dangerous angles and at times when you have little time to run away. There's no weapons here, only a ninja suit to cut all damage in half. The enemies also give high enough damage to kill you in one to two hits depending on how much damage you take. Bring defeated will always restart you from the start of a level unless you found a secret area in it, these have items like the ninja suit and things that give money. They also have unique items and mini games that give even more money. Being defeated by a boss might let you start halfway through a level instead of all the way at the start

Beat em up levels are straight lines through dangerous streets, similar to bad street brawler... sometimes Shimigoto will be blocked in a area until she can kill whoever is trying to stop her progress. The bosses are mostly just normal enemies with more health or actual unique enemies. Being defeated will start you from a checkpoint which at the beginning, halfway point and just before the boss. Unlike other areas, beat em up levels measure their length with the HUD at the bottom of the screen, this shows you how long the area is and where you areas other areas have different level shapes and backgrounds throughout them, but this only has a repeating look to them and so where you are is indicated by this. All items here are immediately sold for money

Shooter levels are similar to action levels, similar to xexys.. except Shimigoto is heavily pushed to having to shoot enemies as their weapobs, movements and weapons she finds all push to that. places in the castle and in the sky will have her on autoscolling areas where she can only use shooting weapons or shoot parasparkles at enemies. Weapons that have finite ammo will only be infinite in these areas due to the change in the power and air there. Items found here are also temporary unless Shimigoto leaves with it, then she can switch back to them whenever she wants. To make up for if the player is killed there's many robots who sells items and weapons depending on what continent you're on, and money is easier to find here as not only enemies drop it, but it can be found lying on the ground too. These are also where the most info can be found along with the lore can be found from the people and robots in these areas. They're sometimes divided into all 3 sections like in xexys, outside, castle and the sky. Being defeated here always takes you back to the start of a area except when flying in a castle, and when after fighting a boss in the sky, you return to the area just before fighting them...which is when the sky turns dark and you zoom pass many spikes

All areas are the leftover areas alk together, while others have enemies specifically fro. each level and game matching with each.  this one has any enemy and items in every level. While they're still dangerous and helpful respectively, they're not categorized and Shimigito can fight any enemy nd use any item anywhere here. Being defeated will start you from the checkpoint and just before the boss

ENEMIES:

...according to the book, the enemies are the soul of Breathtaking. The idea surrounded ugly NES sprites so I guess alot of attention will go into making them insanely ugly to contrast Shimigoto's beauty. Each enemy will do something very specific and be divided, like how they're drawn and written in the book. The descriptions might vary from in the book also:

It's 665 hits to kill the archdemon.

Each boss has drastically different differences, enemies are mostly the same though action and Puzzle enemies are mostly similar, with puzzle ones mostly doing more damage forcing you to have to think about how you fight them, other than this they both only take one damage.

Though bosses are all are different, action bosses have 14 health and have patterns that few would break. Puzzle bosses have 4-8 health but hitting them will knock Shimigoto back far from them so you always have to run back to them while dodging their attacks except with the final who will run from you instead. Beat em up bosses all have 10-13 health and have signature attacks they'll do, and some have only one attack and time when they can be hurt. Shooter bosses have alot of energy and fight and move in a pattern, you mostly must endure and dodge their bullets. The final boss is both a action and shooter boss, the fight taking two sections and dealing more damage than the previous. The gameplay and enemies match up with each section so players will know what will com up after

CHARACTERS:

introduction of each character and trying to remember who they were, though Shimigoto is more so fleshed out due to her being in tomodachi life and I can add:

Shimigoto Akume: Is a lady that lives in space, she doesn't seem to be a higher being nor human. But she can be seen as Supernatural and very secretive. Her life before she arrives on earth is unknown except for Gouka being a rival of hers. She easily beats Gouka and doesn't see them, as a danger, even being friendly to Gouka. When the game starts, it reveals her beating Gouka and then going home, it's now she finds the letter revealing the rise of the Minikui. She immediately goes to help the planet, and apparently wants to have fun and looks good while doing so. Shimigoto is very much a free spirit and despite her having no problem with killing, is actually very curious about starting a family, but doesn't think she should. There's several reasons why she thinks this, her attracting dangerous beings, being perverted and she can't have children due to her having a supernatural body. She's actually kind and encourages others to be as free as she is, but has no actual friends nor anyone she can truly confide in

Fierceflames: is a good small red dragon, after Shmigoto finds him, they

become friends and they end up both fighting the Mimkuo. he shoots flames and follows her until anything abrupt happens

Gouka Chokuritsu: is from the same race as Shimigoto and hates her. The reason is because of her power, and Gouka's latest problem is her not seeing them as a rival. Gouka seems to be the exact opposite of her, Gouka is always surrounded by people and lives in civilization, while Gouka can't carry children either, Gouka only wants family if it means gaining more power and strength, mostly to kill Shimigoto. Gouka teams up the Minikui to kill her but is murdered due to they going so far as to torment others, and is brought back just to be destroyed again. Gouka always has a creepy smirk when they think they can kill Shimigoto

Elliot: is a scientist that decided to help Shimigoto after learning that she knew one of his acquaintences, Clair. Elliot reveals how the Turpis dark and light statues work, and wants to keep them away from the demons.. but is

robbed and later killed by Gouka's family, but before he completely does.....he's revived as Jisan wanted to use him as the happy devil. After Shimigoto  defeated the sajurai, Shimigito healed him and he was able to live peacefully after watching her kill both Jisan and Turpis.

Clair: Is a survivor who knocked out Shimigoto (though I might change that) thinking  she was a monster. But after learning she came to help the planet, Clair reveals that a acquaintance of hers, Elliott, would know about how the

invasion started and the reason. She gives Shimigoto the dark Turpis Statue to take to him and keep away from the demons. But she was caught afterwards and used as to force Shimigoto to give them the dark statue, but their plans are ruined when the lady arrives the next day. Fortunately they were just going to let Clair starve and use her as a sacrifice later but Shimigoto saved her in time and killed Turpis. Clair thanked her but didn't reveal her crush on the mysterious being...

Fairies: are people of the planet, of another race. Whenever Shimigoto

enters a puzzle area, they're close by to give her info on the place and what the Mimikui did to the continent. While many of them give info,

some are trapped by devils and upon being saved,

they'll give health and money as thanks

Gray robots: sell weapons and items Shimigoto can use to fight enemies and

get around easier. Though his copies of these can be lost, if found via purchase or from gambling. They can be kept solely when bought in a castle place

Blue robots: sell info, these can help

you with any area, but can only be found in shooter areas

Bearlady: gives one weapon or item per shooting area,

these can be permanent, but only if Shimigoto can keep it until she leaves that area.

Ghosty: Helps with the gambling game, hit the ghost and knock him into and

treasure chest you think has the money or item you want

Saleslady: upgrades your weapon for a cheap price,

this lets you give more damage and keeps it from getting lost if you're defeated

Sweetwoman: Gives you money when you visit,

but only once per visit

Alligator lady: will refill your health for a price.

She'll continue for every visit

King: Rulers of every continent, after killing the boss in the castle, the king of that place will introduce himself and ask for Shimigoto's help in stopping the

monster over the continent and save his daughter. Then he'll use his small power to show her where the monster is

Hot spring women: They're frozen in their tubs by devils, after they're killed, these ladies come out and thank Shimigoto,

adding flaming element to all her attacks... it stays but will fade if she's defeated

PRINCESS:

Princesses are saved normally from the sky bosses in shooting areas, but can appear in different places. Upon being saved they'll give random help. Which range from being lead to the next boss to new items and powers:

Celia is the princess of Sky Kingdom, she'll give Shimigoto a star that will unlock areas in Forget-Me-Not. She reveals she was born there and asks for you to kill the bosses there.

Eliza is the princess of Forget-Me-Not, she'll give Shimigoto a plasma beam. She reveals it'll help alot when fighting bosses later on.

She's the only princess that straight up reveals while she's happy to be saved by Shimigoto, she's already dating someone...

Merri is the princess of Starlight kingdom, she'll give Shimigoto a suit and explain that she'll be able to fight easier with it.

Though she suggests she makes more friends to make things easier on herself.

Silvia is the princess of Diamond kingdom,

she'll give Shimigoto a suit and ask her to kill the monsters terrorizing the sister kingdom many miles away

Crona is the princess of Celestial, she'll show Shimigoto where the next boss is,

and give her a star that will unlock areas in Celestial and stop a handful of annoying enemies in Jisan's castle

Usagi is the sovereign single queen of the Dessert Kingdom, her kingdom was locked off from others to keep Turpis from getting in. But moles have let other enemies inside and they have been trying to deal with them without letting Turpis in.

When Shimigoto finds the kingdom, Usagi asks her for help and offers her kingdom and gives her a item that will allow the last dance to be easy

ITEM:

Items can be temporary power ups or permanent weapons, when you buy or find from a npc, it's permanent most of the time, while items in the wild and with finite ammo are temporary, each are divided into different sections. But at post game, can be found everywhere. Though permanent weapons can be used anytime..despite not being helpful in all situations:

Moon Wand: special weapon that sends shockwaves to kill all onscreen, found in Butterscotch..

ACTION:

Windmill Shuriken: Flies through enemies, cutting them and returning to Shimigoto. If she doesn't catch it back, she can continue to move while it

swirls around her like a shield. Hitting a big object or going far away from it will cause ammo to be used up. Powered up, it's stretch us longer and can be fully controlled via looking up or down. Though ammo can still be used up

Shuriken: Cuts enemies too, but ammo goes whenever it's thrown. There's

more of it than with windmill shuriken though. Powered up they can be thrown faster while aimed in every direction, this can cause wall, spray and swirl shots to be used.

Firebreathing ring: Burns all enemies in front if and dishonor upwards from wherever Shimigoto is facing. It has limited use but can be used very fast.

Powered up it can be literally breathed like fire in any direction, though still with limited uses.

Electricball: can be used to electrocute all enemies directly in front of Shimigoto, with limited uses.

Powered up, it can be thrown in all directions for wall and spray shots.

vacuum: can crunch enemies directly above and under Shimigoto with limited uses, Powered up it crunches all above and below, moving correctly can make it go horizontal to.

It still has limited uses but can gives extra damage to bosses unlike most other weapons.

PUZZLE:

Spinsword: hurts enemies a little ways from Shimigoto, she doesn't have to

get close to enemies. It's a permanent weapon but has some lag.

Spinning shuriken: stabs all enemies directly in front of Shimigoto, has limited use.

Powered up it can do wall and spray shots.

Dragonball D: Beats enemies by Circling Shimogoto for 6 seconds,

Powered up it stays for 24 seconds.

Ninja suit: Gives Shimigoto 5 extra defense,

but disappears on first strike. Powered up it stays for 12 hits before it falls off...

BEAT EM UP:

All of these can just be sold for money, it's revealed that while they work, they're too weak for Shimigoto to actually use..

SHOOTER:

Handbeam: Shoots a beam further from Shimigoto than the Spin sword does, so she won't have to get close. Doesn't run out of use, but lags some.

One of the few permanent weapon that can be powered up, it can be used to make wall and spray shots, still lags.

45B: Shoots balls that can kill most enemies and bounces off objects and bosses. Powered up the balls don't disappear upon breakingthrough enemies, and only go after 3 seconds.

BELLUS:

These are different masks given at the end, after rescuing some Princesses. Along with whatever else that princess might give, they activate automatically when you touch whatever element that activates them. Though they can be activated normally, they have limited power when just used on normal dry land:

Web: Only mask not given. Shimigoto can swim underwater, but cannot attack there.

Where she would fail from falling into a element she isn't used to, she can swim in underwater easily and breathe under it with these.

Small whale: this mask is found underwater, and let's Shimigoto use attacks underwater.

She can shoot and poke enemies and objects.

Torpedo: Found after saving Forget-Me-Not, this lets Shimigoto speed through levels, exploding on objects and enemies she hits.

It activates immediately upon reaching a wall or secret path that she would need to climb over or wouldn't normally be able to get up, respectively.

Drāgon: Found after saving Starlight--Aurora, this lets Shimigoto crash through some objects and eat enemies.

This activates automatically on contacting objects the calmer and reserved Shimigoto won't break with her original/birth body...

FORMS AND FRIENDS:

These are different forms Shimigoto can learn to go in and use, though I want her to have friends in this too:

Original: Shimigoto is normally fast, and has somewhat glidey jumps. Her attacks are fast, yet very floaty. She doesn't fly in normal levels but is floaty enough to do a full circle in midair, which will catch and kill enemies caught in it. Despite her being floaty and slow in the air, she can drop down fast and walljump fast too. Balancing out her dancy/floaty and fast/fighting sides.

Mercury: Shimigoto's normal speed, and very gooey and sticky. While having normal jumps and droppings, her climb up walls but sticking to and snatching herself up it. Her physical attacks can stick to and destroy enemies, she also can stick to bosses until they directly can attack her. She can hold onto objects, stretch herself and launch off. He can stretch to hit things normally out of her reach too. Both Shimigoto and her friend, Suigin if I give her a friend, she can adds extra ice/water elements to weapons, regain health via flying along with being unable to use fire weapons and forms.

Mars: Shimigoto's fast speed, she climbs, jumps and falls at normal speeds and has defense against fire. Both Shimigoto and Kasei, if I give her a friend, she can add extra fire to all her weapons along with being unable to swim and is extremely weak to knockback. She also flies very fast.

Jupiter: Shimigoto's normal form, she jumps, climbs and falls normally. She will make more energy appear after killing enemies in this form. Both Shimigoto and Mokusei, if I giver a friend, she can use windmill shuriken, dragonball D and Ekectricball without limit (unless defeated), though she can't use wings nor firebreath, though she can hurt enemies by flying into them.

Venus: Shimigoto's fastest form, she falls slowly but can fly up walls and does need to wall jump, though she can. She always hovers over the floor and can't drop off cliffs unless she drops and can't pull out if it. Both Shimigoto and if I give her a friend, Kinboshi, can add electric elements to her attacks and weapons, but can use infinite Shuriken, Crescent Moon and Electriballs. She can also fly fast in the air, but take heavy knockback up in the air.

Moon: Shimigoto transforms into this form to kill Turpis, she can use any weapon and item while chasing him. But only then, unless she meets the king of Celestial. After this she can use any this anytime.. Both Shimigoto and if I give her a friend, Tsuki, she can fly anytime she wants in any area.. though she won't go too far from a specific point.

Pink: Shimigoto transforms into into this after meeting Usagi, she can use all items similar to her Moon form or her friend, Moon.. but can make all ammo infinite, and can switch between all items by default. This also lets her use all forms' abilities too. Shimigoto ...or Tankōshoku, if I give her a friend can easily go from one pls e to another smoothly and can cross the planet casually. This form is special because it can be used at the end, or during the new-game+ so Shimigoto can gave everything from the very beginning via this form.

MUSIC

Music is apparently it's own thing, and section. All music is inspired by the games this is based on, and is all 8 to 16-bit. Though the theme song apparently would have a 8-bit, instrumental and vocal version. The Ecstasy levels have remix or remixes of the theme playing

Co-op

A new idea for the game, based on her daughter from Tomodachi life. Two (or probably more) player co-op will feature her daughter(s). Shimei, Murphi and Mimie. Storywise, they only say that they're from the future and came to help. They all have looks similar to their mother, but have a hint who the parent is... Yellow/blonde, Topaz/blonde and Yellowgold/blonde with Shimei having brown eyes and the rest having blue. They all have the same stats and moves as her, and can use the same things..though due to Shimigoto being the one-player, she'll be the only person able to break secrets and move the screen to new areas.
