Pizza Party



 pizza party is a platforming party game, with players hopping through random levels and hitting enemies or spaces by the time their short timer runs out. Once everybody had a turn, they play a minigame, then go back to the level. The characters I have planned are similar to the Mario series and might include: Hopman, Flutterman, Goldman and older but ramakes of other characters I remember making such as: The Astra bros, and Muigi and Nario...

Princess of the Melons kingdom, she's very energetic and incredibly strong

Cousin of the twins, is a hitman trying to have friends

Citizens of the Peppermint kingdom

A historian who likes being part of history

A dinosaur who loves physical contact, but is very adamantly shy


Bovi

Citizens of Oxking's kingdom, they want friends and frequently betray him

Princess of the Starry Kingdom, is shy and trying to have fun

A old friend of Hopper's, she has a crush on him but is doesn't say anything




GAMEPLAY: 


Part-time will feature Sidescrolling platforming with different enemies and objects on each platform, if players want to interact with them, they must stop and wait until the time runs out, unless it's a action event or Bank, in which case players must stop and interact with the obstacle, thought there's always a way around said obstacles. Players have a 20 second timelimit to rush through the levels and find the Gems and reach the end, upon reading the send of a level they will receive a prize and be sent back to the start until the end of turns is over, then their gems, money, items and other interactions will all be counted up and whoever got the most gems will win. This will list all the events players can run into and hint at what they'll do.:

Good place: These give 3 coins every time you land on one, when the party hits zenith, it's 5-10 coins.

Bad luck: These take 3 coins every time you land on one, when the party hits zenith, it's 5-10 coins.

Fall down cliff: This takes a coin and health(???), along with stopping your turn short. You'll start from the last space you were on, and it's effect will take place.

Bank: Forces you to give 5 coins if you land or decide to stop on it. If you had 1-5 seconds left or a card, you can take every coin. Disabled at the party Zenith.

Dueltime: Game chooses who you'll duel with, you both will fight over a random number of coins to via a minigame. Winner gets all or third, loser gets none or a quarter. (Duels happen during the party zenith too if 2 players land on the same spot)

Gambling: If you land or decide to stop on it, you have to play a gambling minigame and the amount of money you bet is randomized. If you win you get your money back, if you don't you just lose everything that was taken.

Surprise: Causes a level specific event to happen, players who can take Advantage of them will benefit,  while others might be knocked off the cliff

Wild: Game randomly gives coins and stars(?) or forces players to trade stars and coins, via the activating player choosing at random

Oxking: Forces all or just the activating player to give coins, or play a very hard minigame, or randomly deactivate

Item time: Player has to play a mini game or answer a question for a free item

Phantom house: Pay ghost to take coins and stars from or throw another player of the cliff. They can resist or use a item to scare them away

Shop: Can be a shop with helpful or hurtful items, depending on the owner, Shops randomly switches 50/50 of the time.

Lottery thing: Decide if you want to pay 20 or more coins or more you can enter the lottery, players have a 50/50 chance of winning more coins or nothing after 4 turns. If Zenith happens in that time, the results happen immediately and lottery spaces no longer work at all, and act as Good places

Gates: Block specific places and shortcuts, need gold keys to enter 

King of the Jungle: causes level events to happen to all players, whoever can't get away will lose coins, regardless if the event normally took them. Is more dangerous in 

Coin Time: Only minigames that allow players to make alot of coins can be played at random, all players have a chance to play

Pizza Time: Like Coin time, except with pizza, and only in the single digits of pizza can be made

Twistertime: Cause a tornado to chase all players for 5-7 spaces, it can blow them to any space on the map.

Monster Melee: Causes a monster to chase the players for 6 spaces, depending on ability, players can avoid it completely. If caught, players are thrown off the cliff

Time for a Miracle!: Random coins or pizzas is given to the player who lands on this space, they're hard to get on and rare though. 1-3 stars, 1-100 coins



Gem Confusion: A space where you lose a gem, 5 pizzas or 20 coins, constantly moves

Gem Eternal: A surprising space where you can buy a Gem for 20 coins, or 5 pizzas constantly moves


MINIGAMES: 

All minigames and the category they'll fall under, they're playable in the campaign after every player had a turn and during specific spots that activated them. They can freely be played in multiplayer though, upon being unlocked:

FREE-FOR-ALLS: (Games all players can join in, if they survive the game in a match, then all win but get less coins spending on when they loss, in most of these games)

McTagger: Players must run from octopi looking monsters, in a top-down view within a field. They can jump and attack to try getting away or screw up other players. More monsters arrive as the 60 sec timer goes down.

Foodraider: Players run through a small house, in a side scrolling view. They must find the food within a 30 sec time, and cannot mess up other players.

Fascar: Players race on a track, in a topdown view with splitscreens. They must find whatever store is lit on that round, and park there before 30 seconds.

RodeoClowns: Players must ride a bull looking creature and not get flung off via   doing what's prompted before they're slung off. There's only 4 rounds, if it's a tie then all players get a different prompt randomly. Last one on wins, if everybody hits the prompt, then the game decides a winner based on the input time or randomly

Matadoors: Players must tempt bulls to ram them, on splitscreens, but must move away at the last second. This goes for only 5-6 times, or for 30 seconds if all players never get hit. Players who move to early will cause the bull to come directly at them, and those who don't move will obviously get rammed. If none lose, then a screen is shared and players must jump over a big bull suddenly, if all jump at the right time, A random winner is chosen

Lionthrower: Players must rhythmically tap a button as a lion chases them, then suddenly press a different one when cornered to throw it, while in a sidescrolling view on a splitscreen. Those who don't get the rhythm will be thrown, as well as those who aren't ready for the surprise input. If all do it perfectly, then the winner will randomly be chosen via a lion charging them on a shared screen.

SPOTS: 


Every spot in detail along with specific spots that doesn't count as a landing:


Good place: These blue lit areas give 3 coins every time you land on one, when the party hits zenith, it's 5-10 coins. There's more of these in most levels.


Bad luck: These red lit areas take 3 coins every time you land on one, when the party hits zenith, it's 5-10 coins. There's less of these in most levels.

Lucky:  If you find this you'll be taken to a lucky area with only good places and item places. Though you can never collect gems from here, there's always a exit trim this place and it will move around randomly on a board


Pizza space: Can buy or sell pizza here. Sometimes items are given instead


Oxen Space: If you land or stop on it, you'll be forced to do a random action such as give the king any random amount of coins, poison everybody/reduce their time or play a hard minigane. Though there's two rewards, getting money via random or by not have 20 coins by getting there and it landing  on gem or pizza giveaway will result in the king leaving


Free space: if you land on or stop here, you get to play a mini game solely based on. getting money or pizza an bananas are given to you or everyone xxx at random



COURSES:

Every area and board in the game, along with the gimmicks and hazards of each:


Cloud Castle- a fun level with many different paths, getting to the castle tower awards a star, but the Ox might be there at random willing to take a gem or 20 coins. More Good places than others, 1 bank and surprises let rainbow bridges be made for shortcuts across this level. Uses 25 spaces.


Haunted Home- a spooky level with several paths leading to stairs that go back to the start, only one leads to a guarunteed star, while others have extra items. The right path is up, up, then down, down to the basement, it's covered with good places and bad luck in random intervals. Other 3 paths include Surprises, 3 banks and other spaces more than good places, all 4 uses Gates for shortcuts around ghosts, and Surprise--King of the jungle all summon different ghosts to chase or ambush the player. Uses 40 spaces (falling from roof will simply lead to lower floors)


Party time!- a fun level with several rooms devoted to dinner tables, pinatas, ballons and cake. Every path eventually binds together, and level ends at a balcony that goes back into the party. Cupcakes can be sold or eaten if the player happens to find one while platforming, feeding party goers adds 4 seconds, while ignore them takes 4. 


Desserted Area- A scorching level with a mostly straight shot to the end, though more obstacles will block the way, cliffs are more abundant too..... seesaws, moving platforms and surprise spaces will work against the player a great deal. Surprises call bomb monsters and flies to stop everybody's progress and take coins, they also cause platforms to stop and go randomly. 4 banks are here though most are out of the way, and keys are needed to get the gem at the end, or players are escorted back and will need to chase the Star Eternal. Uses 20 spaces, 25 after getting a key



ITEMS: 

These are both helpful and fighting items that can be brought whenever a player simply passes a shop, answer a question or wins a item minigame. All items can simply be tossed too, as only 3-5 can held during a level. They can be sold too;


HELPFUL:

Pasta-Gives extra 5 seconds

Pizza- Gives 10 extra seconds

Wiza Card- Shop from positi store from anywhere

New key- unlocks any door and disappears

Magicarpet-Player choose any space to fly to, but ends turn after this

Dragoncall- A gold dragon lifts the user directly to the Gem Eternal Space

Flashlight-Blinds ghost automatically, stops any attack

Frightmask-Scares away Oxking, King of the Jungle and Gambler

Bankard-Automatically withdraws coins from bank


NEUTRAL:

Random dinner- move any place, game chooses though

Barter- Game chooses which of your and a opponents items are switched



FIGHTING:

Cheesecake- Limits timer to 3 seconds for whoever eats it

Gelato- Forces eater to run backwards

Oxard- Shop from a negati store from anywhere

Bootycall???- Forces a chosen victim into a Oxking event

Taxer- Scares all opponents passed to give 20 coins in fear

Sirencall- A amethyst Siren dives down and throws the Star Eternal into a random place

Robber Mobber- Steal any item from any player

Phantom mask- calls a phantom to haunt a player, must pay 20-50 coins though

Pistols- choose a player to gamble with, works as a normal duel match
