--- Short summary ---

A shorter version of Angyl Saga, the 2016 version was made on Game Maker Studio free version. The game waa always meant to be isometric, but has been remade again as a sidescrolling-top down game. Angyl Saga 2016 is a topdown shooting game where I had to hunt down and kill 4-6 bosses. The final being hidden until I get enough righteousness to challenge it. The remake on PGD did all 10 bosses but did not have the check that would see if players had enough righteousness. This version will be made for Julia's editor and use the money system to count Righteousness and complete the game. Though the name might be changed as I don't know if we have rights to our games...

A Angyl sent to Earth to stop the darkness from taking over via a possessed angyl. He collects the good--righteousness left from life on Earth and use it to save it

**** 1. Gameplay--Gameloop ****

Angyl Saga 2016 starts players off in a field filled with Righteousness and enemies, they must find enemy strongholds and kill the bosses inside. After killing everybody there, they go on to the final area to kill the evil who started everything. After this, players can go to the real final fight if they have enough Righteousness. Otherwise, they're forcibly sent back to the start. If they have enough: they can fight the final boss and finish the game. The 2022 version of it was more simplistic as it couldn't hold every boss on one screen. Players are immediately sent into a stronghold and must navigate the maze and enemies until they can find and kill the boss. Each one had similar strategies, since it was made on PGD and players had to use the landscape to plan attacks. Unlike the 1st game, this one took players to the next level every time they killed a boss and all 10 could've in the game. They could do the last fight by default as there was no way to check their progress. 


This version will do as the 2016 version and have 4 bosses onscreen in their own strongholds, players will have to go through fields to find the boss and kill them. They'll find Righteousness, enemies and trees on their way to the strongholds and challenge the boss in their homes. Thanks to the a.i. built into it, the bosses will have strategies similar to what they had in the 2016 version and will react when the player gets near. Righteousness will be counted as money, and health will be found solely in enemies similar to the 2022 version. No speedups will be used in this version like in the others The first game used this due to lack of knowing how to work health in game maker. Health was there by default in the 2022 version and speedups were already in the that engine. The Julian version could only get health from level ups, and those can't be checked later on. So there'll be separate items for health and Righteousness, but nothing to speed up players. There might be 2 attack buttons: one for melee and one for shooting, though I might keep it a shooter.  The game(s) will use 2 areas for bosses 1 for 4, another for 4. Players move from area to area after collecting their powers and going to a light that'll take them to the next area. (ensure the transporting hitbox is WIDE!) Players will see the huge differences upon traveling the fields and seeing how things change near a stronghold, and barriers to here a player can go is covered in deformed stones. Normal trees and probably rocks can be broken though... The final area might be toned down to to it being solid black and having flashing blocks. The color changing speed might be toned down and the maze might not be exactly as it was in the 2016. After the boss is beaten a store will open and if the player doesn't have enough Righteousness, they'll be kicked out and have to go into a light similar to the one they entered before, but the game will alert the player that the evil has reversed time and they'll be sent back as is but everything else will be alive again. Players will be encouraged to collect 100 Righteousness before trying to finish the game. 



Due to the size of the game and purposely simplistic gameplay: this game can be enlarged to include most of the series. Where I haven't started making other games in this due to lack of time and having a isometric engine to make the game as envisioned: 2016 could have all the games in one. All 4-7 games originally thought of before they get darker can be in this, but must have the same formula, only increasing or changing things when another threat comes up. The story can be explained beforehand, and all subsequent times will have short story to explain the amount of time that passed and the new situation.
